Christ The Redeemer American Orthodox Church is a place where people can celebrate the Holy Liturgy, meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community where everyone is welcome. A typical liturgy will last about 2.5 - 3 Hours. The Coptic Liturgy is characterized by its rich symbolism and traditional rituals. There are two main liturgies in the Coptic tradition: the Liturgy of St. Basil and the Liturgy of St. Cyril. The most commonly celebrated liturgy is the Liturgy of St. Basil, which is conducted on most Sundays and during the major feasts of the Coptic calendar.  Throughout the Coptic Liturgy, there is an emphasis on reverence, symbolism, and the connection between the earthly worship and the heavenly realm. The Coptic Orthodox Church places a strong emphasis on the continuity of its liturgical traditions, maintaining a link with the early Christian practices of the region.
